I've made a berserker and i think im going to go dual wield with high dex but & i've been using the each crit heals me for 7% life bonus attribute but im still dieing every so often.
Tl;dr best way to heal?
should i just stockpile gold and buy alot of health potions?

Invest a small amount of points into shadow burst. It is a great movement/utility move with even a few points in it that can be used to dodge big attacks and get you out of troublesome situations. On top of that, it also heals you for a percentage on MULTIPLE targets hit.

This is one of our greatest survivability tools. It doesn't do great DPS, so I wouldn't advise investing too many points, keep it at 5.

Gold fish sell from 500-2k gold from my experience i dont know what changes it but it seems to go lower the higher the level you are

and you should be doing 1str/2dex/2 vita until your at around 80-120 str and then 3dex/2vita one level and 2dex/3vita the next level imo

and buying potions is for any melee class you'll be pvming in

i put all my points into str/dex i crit so much i steal a decent amount of life.

i also use shadow burst to heal to full.

did find a magic find armor though with regen but not high enough level yet
also @ kufner towards the end game do you find a decent amount of mobs that range or no? im finding it's like 80% melee 20% range atm so wondering if frost shield for dat 44% charge bar is worthless or not

I just finished the game @ level 50ish with 8 potions used, half of those probably mana
