1H Weapon / Shield ... No need for wands or staffs... your magic, use whats best to make u do the most damage with the best survivability

That's wat i'm asking, numbers-wise, which is stronger? someone who understands this game's formulas must have figured out if it's more effective to dual wield wands and invest the points elsewhere, or invest in staff spec and wield staves. It's either or, not both, one option is better than the other, whichever it is.



normal 1h weapons dont have additional elemental damage though for my spells/

I have a 100 level embermage focusing on ice and im using wand and a shield. And i have no points invested on wand or staff mastery.
I really really rarely or never use my wand to kill o.o i use my skills. when you have 300 focus and a few points on the charge mastery skill you cant really oom, even if you are trying to.
So IMO investing any points in weapon masteries is a waste. escpesially on staff mastery. as a squishy mage, you really dont want to get close to smack a giant troll. I mean, it will smack you back like 1000000 times harder.
