i put £40 (52 euros) on a football accumulator.
for those who dont know what this is, an accumulator is a bet in which you select multiple teams at once, say 4 teams or something. all of which have to win for your bet to win.

i backed most of the favourites in the world cup in the group stages

england vs iran (i went for england)
france vs australia (i went for france)
belgium vs canada (went for belgium)
portugal vs ghana (i went for ghana)
argentina vs saudi (i went for argentina)
germany vs japan (i went for japan)

on paper, this was a guaranteed win, i would have won £350 (406 euros)

but argentina first, then germany, both decided to ruin my bet

noob teams, i hope they both crash out

I understand the frustration over Argentinas match, even maybe Germany but what were on about when going for Ghana?


And it's the first round of group matches, betting on them is silly as you have no information how certain national team perform at the WC.


Like me, i bet on the first round in total of 2.200 FG, 4 seperate bets, none of them were winner, and i didnt even went for the most obvious ones

Argentina is given, but Germany looked weak at the euro and at the qualy, vs against japan who always do well on worldcups so i wasn't that surprised of the outcome, i had it 2-1 for japan in my predictions.
