this has never been a betting forum. our british guys mostly bet real money, not nerdcoins, and the rest of the euros aren't particularly involved in gambling.

if you have an interesting or at least controversial football related topic you might get some replies. just out of interest (not supposed to be a purity test, obviously everyone can post here if they like): do you even watch football (soccer)?

Yeah I watch soccer, but not an avid watcher. I just like to watch good matchups and putting a little wager on it never hurt. I’m more of a players guy not a teams guy. Aguero is fun to watch.

Maybe if people bet on soccer for nerd coins then it’d be more active. Look at basketball and Football during the season. Way more active.

oh don't get me wrong, this sub sure is pretty much dead, and has been so since before corona, i just doubt that betting will revive it. a few of your fellow betting enthusiasts from other sports subs tried it before, and it didn't really catch on.

This forum ussualy lives more during international tournaments. Over the years the sub has died down a bit but the community is still there.
