imagine you had unlimited money, could pick ANY player and coach currently active in 'your' league, how would your best starting 11 look like? maybe TRY to be somewhat objective.

my bundesliga team would probably look something like this:

lewandowski (fcb)
reus (bvb) - havertz (lev) - sancho (bvb)
kimmich (fcb) - goretzka (fcb)
davies (fcb) - süle (fcb) - upamecano (rbl) - hakimi (bvb)
neuer (fcb)

coach: streich (scf)

unsurprisingly dominated by bayern (6) and dortmund (3), left wing imo the most contested position, could easily have gone to gnabry (fcb)

Fun idea, I'll do one of both EPL and Belgian league for obvious reasons.

EPL:

Aubameyang (ARS)
Mané (LIV) - De Bruyne (CIT) - SALAH (LIV)
Kanté (CHE) - Ndidi (LEI)
Robertson (LIV) - Laporte (CIT) - Van Dijk (LIV) - Alexander-Arnold (LIV)
Ederson (CIT)

Coach: Klopp (LIV)

Most choices are obvious, Ndidi and Ederson most likely the mot controversial ones. I just really rate Ndidi and see a big future for him. As for the GK I really rate Ederson and his kicking abilities are amazing to have.

Pro League:

David (GENT)
Diatta (CLUB - Vanaken (CLUB) - Verschaeren (AND)
Odjidja (GENT) - Vormer (Club)
D'haene (KOR) - Vanheusden (STA) - Hoedt (ANT) - Mata (CLUB)
Mignolet (CLUB)

Coach: Clement (CLUB)

Most names are probably unfamiliar for most people. David is the most exciting one in the bunch and will definitely leave at the end of the season. Vanaken has been the best player in the league for a few seasons now.

i have to admit, mignolet is literally the only one of them i know. back in my school days, i guarantee you, i would have known at least half of the belgian league's top players through eurosport and manager games, lol.

for my premier league team i'd definitely pick alisson. don't know too much about ndidi (would probably have picked gündogan there, but that might be even more controversial tbf). for striker i think i would pick kane, but i don't think that auba or agüero are 'wrong' or necessarily biased choices by any stretch, you can make solid arguments for both. the rest looks pretty much exactly like i would have chosen:

kane
mané - de bruyne - salah
kanté - gündogan
robertson - van dijk - laporte - taa
alisson

could you do one for mls, or don't you follow that league? would be interesting to see if any familiar names of old battle horses from european leagues pop up.

Ndidi is top 10 defensive mids in the world right now and has every chance at being top 3. Most tackles and most interceptions of any midfielder in the prem this season, getting better every game with the ball at his feet and he's nowhere near peaked yet. I know I usually big up leicester players fairly big, but in ndidi and ricardo we've potentially got 2 genuine world class players on our hands.

Rashford Aguero B.Silva
KDB Kante Fernandes
Robertson Laporte VvD TAA
DDG

Manager: Guardiola

De Bruyne really is the best player in the league by considerable distance, it'll be a disgrace if Henderson is anywhere near the PFA POTY award.

Surprised so many people are picking Salah, he's been wretched in at least the last 18 months, would genuinely rather have Traore from Wolves over him in my team, Liverpool should cash in as quickly as they can before likes of PSG realise.

Dudes scored same prem goals as aguero. Not bad for a bad season. I'm surprised so many are picking laporte when that injury crock has played a handful of games all season. :D

He's bound to score a fair amount of goals when all he does is just sit in the final third and wait for the ball to be played to feet while midfield three and Firmino do all the donkey work, even when 9 out of 10 he blazes it wildly into row z, one or two will come in.

I've always rated and liked Laporte even in his Athletic days.
