it's even stranger considering they complained how unsportsmanlike it was from panama to try it...
but yeah, the almost hilariously amateurish way they tried to pull this off, clearly playing each other offside, illustrates they probably did not put much thought into that, it was just a heat of the moment thing with a world cup final on the line.

that being said, claiming they were just 'trolling' is a pathetic excuse, no one wastes so much energy after two hours of intense fighting just to prank an opponent...
