It's not even complicated. Use it ONLY for the decisions that aren't open to interpretation.

It's extremely worrying that a professional referee watched slow motion replays and still gets it wrong.

I'm dreading that moment in the World Cup where a team gets eliminated due to an incorrect VAR decision, we all know it's coming.


Pretty much, why didn't they review the Oxlade penalty claim if they reviewed the Chiesa one? I don't see how they are making their decisions

If it were ze Germans the ref would never have given the pen.

I've always been against it. Hawkeye all the way, and leave fouls and penalties to the ref.

Offside? Open to interpretation + use other tech to control that automatically without VAR

VAR was doomed to fail from the start tbh, every ref interpretates a situation differantly.
The rules need to be crystal clear however they are not. As long as these aren't fixed VAR will be doomed.
