So 2nd placed PAOK was facing first placed AEK in a game that could be crucial in the title fight. PAOK scored the 1-0 at the end, but it was disallowed (good call imo). The team didn't take it too well and invaded the pitch... including the club's president, who was... carrying a gun and apparently threatening the ref with it?

The clash between PAOK and AEK had to be suspended due to a pitch invasion by fans and the home side's president Ivan Savvidis also went to remonstrate to the referee with a gun fastened to his belt

The match official Georgios Kominis ruled out a goal by PAOK in the dying minutes of the match which led to the chaotic scenes.

Kominis quickly left the pitch along with his colleagues after being threatened by Savvidis.

AEK's Spanish coach Manolo Jimenez told Spanish radio that Savvidis went up to the referee, showed him his gun, and said: "your career as a referee has ended."

Well with all the crazy people in greek football, what if he gets jumped anywhere, especially in a game like this? I don’t know if he legally owned that gun or however, don’t know the laws in Greece but if he was allowed to, why not.

Apparently he's a shady Greek business man with strong ties with russian oligarchs, Putin and some people related to the russian mafia. According to AEK's manager (who is spanish), him having a gun made no sense as he is constantly surrounded by "a bunch of bodyguards"
