dunno about top 5 winger, but he's doing reasonable well, and i'm happy to see that.
also, i'll be the first person to admit that i thought it was a terrible move at the time.
not because i doubted his quality, but because i thought city was too stacked for him to get enough playing time. i feared he'd have trouble adapting to a new league / country, not only due to his tender age, but also the fact that his standing within his team (at schalke he was THE prodigy, the attack leader, and their best player) would change significantly.
i'm glad i was wrong and that he's doing well though...
