There has been no effect at all despite the naysayers on this forum saying no players will come to the premier league anymore and that the premier league is doomed, *COUGH COUGH ZE GERMANS* (except ampoo). Also the economy is doing great and we're in a strong negotiating position for a good trade deal with the EU that benefits our economy and football league.

except the irrational panic proven wrong of course, i gotta say though that the premier league will have a problem in the foreseeable future, with and without brexit

any worse? well, we have no ridiculous 300+mio debt clubs running around here

meanwhile i dont see the tv revenue rising any further, as far as i know the viewing figures are not what many broadcasters were hoping for
then there is infrastructure, most prem clubs hammer every cent into players and are playing in small and old stadiums
if the growth does not continue (ok perhaps they can milk the market in asia some more, while especially china is working on their own league) these clubs will sit on their overpayed players and will have to invest a lot of money elsewhere that they dont have
of course this is open for interpretation, but i seriously dont like the combination, being financially healthy is something else entirely

All we really need is the overdue reform of the FA. Then we might actually start seeing progress.

I'm young, have a job and I voted to stay. Irvine's stereotypes have no power in this thread. But seriously, what do you think the consequences might be in terms of football transfers and the attraction of the premier league?

I think it will have a small effect. The stock market valuation of premier league clubs has decreased a lot already. Even if they have the same amount of money to spend, there might be an indirect effect in that they will be more hesitant to spend big. Most importantly though, investors may rather buy clubs in Spain, Germany or Italy. But who fucking knows really...

The market slowly improved over the course of the day simply because the Bank of England injected some 250 billion into the market in an effort to stabilise the uks financial standing.

Make no mistake about it leaving the Eu was a mistake and the young generation will deal with the harsh ramifications for years to come. Democracy was manipulated with three simple lies. Mr ukip and the blonde mess trump wannabe have already started back peddling on promises made. The magic 350 mil we pay the eu every day!! Hahaha! Jesus Christ. So far we've saved 350 mil then, let's start counting every day and see where this so called money goes shall we.

Do you honestly believe that the Eu will allow it to look like leaving will have positive benefits for us?? Do you think we'll get advantageous trade deals? If this were the case.. Like If that actually happened the Eu would crumble, it wouldn't exist anymore. Everyone would leave.

I still haven't read one fact from a brexit supporter that suggests they even know what they're voting for? I've not seen one person tell me why they feel leaving the Eu would benefit them, not without said reason being pure bullshit.

Literally every expert, warned against leaving the Eu. Yet nobody listened. Stephen fucking hawking told us to remain, that should be enough for anyone?

Shambles. Utter shambles.

nailed it m8

its 350m a week tho (doesnt even include the rebate though, distorted figure anyways)

Yes please. Stupid idiots, thinking that leaving the EU will do more harm than good. As far as football goes. It's just a bit harder to get a working visum. AKA just another form or two to fill out. Nothing special..

You're not considering indirect effects from exchange rate fluctuations and investment opportunities

Dro, are you Eddie Chapman's grandson? :d

My opinion hasn't changed, if a hard brexit is completed, the smaller clubs will weaken due to the inability to get work permits for their players, while the top clubs will be fine for the most part.
