I have to agree, it would be entertaining to watch at the very least.

I also like the effective playing time one, time wasting is annoying as balls, nothing winds me up more than seeing a player take 2 minutes to walk off the pitch. Why not just have in-play subs? Why does the game have to stop for it? One off, one on, easy.

yeah thats the best idea, but why only the last 10 minutes?
the clock should always be stopped for injuries, major decisions like goals, sending offs etc

Basically no ne ideas
Van gaal has raised many of these a couple of years ago, other ideas are just from other sports or even other leagues (take on - MLS in the past )

from what i've read, the time-punishment instead of yellow card should only occur on tactical fouls
that sounds like a pretty good idea to me
try to get out of a tactical disadvantage with a foul ends up in a even bigger tactical disadvantage could really let defenders think twice about if it's worth to do a tactical foul
