Well their "facts" were that they did not enforce the rules, an independent panel does.

It's like calling a potato a potato though. And it's exactly the same thing.

Quite farcical tbh. If it wasn't a problem in the past, it shouldn't be a problem now.

So the IFAB is responsible? The irony here is that the IFAB is composed of a FIFA delegate and a representative of each of the 4 UK national FAs iirc, so they are pretty much enforcing the rules on themselves :D

Both associations have been charged and it is understood the Football Association has been notified that pre-match events on Armistice Day are also under scrutiny.

This would potentially include the display of poppies on big screens in Wembley, the minute silence, the playing of the Last Post and handing poppy t-shirts out to the crowd.
