i've said it before and i'll say it again: FIFA and UEFA are crazy for trying to ban positive / unoffensive messages like these for being "political".
i personally support england and scotland for defying them.

do you think they will / should be punished?

It isn't a political statement imo. So no, they should not be punished.

They can go fuck themselves tbh.

The poppy isn't a political symbol, it's a symbol to show our respect to those who gave everything to give us what we have today.

My grandad must be rolling in his grave over this nonsense.

the teams did nothing wrong, these armbands are a great gesture and not political
its not like they did wear a "free palestine" armband or anything

perhaps fifa and uefa should concentrate on their shit....meanwhile asian slave workers are dying in fucking qatar

Football should have nothing to do with Armistice Day. (for the ones who dont know - Armistice Day is commemorated every year on November 11 to mark the armistice signed between the Allies of World War I and Germany at Compiègne, France, for the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front of World War I)

Its a sport, which falls under entertainment category. Whoever tries to give it meaning should be hanged immediately.

Tell that to the footballers that fought and died in the wars. Should we scrap all of the remembrance plaques outside the stadiums too?

Pathetic. But I don't expect any different from you.
