imo its way past time to use video replays and this is proof that it works quite efficiently as well
hopefully the leagues will catch up soon

Great idea and LONG overdue.

If they can make that shit work in rugby/cricket/tennis etc etc it should be in use in matches which have the potential for millions of £'s worth of consequences, for football teams and people that bet on the matches. I'd rather spend 30 seconds getting the right decision than spend a day thinking "we got robbed"

Half a Minute per decision? Way too long

well i believe it can go rather for better, since just mind that how many fouls are done nowadays and even players want to cheat on or smth and get away with it

and if there will be possibility of those postponed decisions via video outhearing i think they - players can lose on trying to do this, so games can gain on fluidity and rather pure footballing not like making some sick game out of game they take part in

Don't be ridiculous, on things like offside and then a goal its perfect. Usually takes way longer for the ref and the other officials to reach a verdict. Like this it is solved in 20 seconds. Good deal.

I have seen this match live in television on Rai 1 HD. The header looked live like hands, but in the replay you saw that the french players arm was attached to his corpse, so no penalty. 20 secs after the scene and the protests of the italian players, the ref decided no penalty.

Absolute good technology, should be used in every game.
