I don't really care for these kind of awards, but to me this has always been the true Ballon d'Or as it follows the philosophy of the old Ballon d'Or and not the new FIFA Ballon d'Or bullshit (it has no problem giving the prize to Iniesta or Ribery when they deserve it above Cristiano or Messi, who this time didn't even make it to the final 3; this is inconceivable in FIFA's Ballon d'Or).
I can't really say that these are bad picks and that one of them should be left out, but I really miss Suárez here. Personally I think he has been the best player of the season, although I can understand that him missing the Copa América while the other 3 have had a succesful Euro could somewhat justify this decision.
