You could play Vardy on the left instead of Rooney but I think Vardy would only fit in a 433 or a 442, which we used in a diamond today when he came on.
Rooney was our best player at the world cup, he isn't what he used to be but I think he gets a lot more criticism than he deserves.
Its cuz of everyone comparing him to when he was basically top 3 in the world over 3 seasons. And now hes not at that level anymore i believe.
Sadly england have no better player that could fill all attacking positions... However, i believe theres someone better than him on each attacking position in the current england squad.
