I will never forget his bad spanish (like my bad english).

He was a very strong man and we will remember him like a legend. Very sad.

I thought he will live more, but as it seems he was suffering for a long time from that cancer :S

Very sad day for football. He didn't just do a lot for Ajax, Netherlands and Barça, he did a lot for the game. Absolute legend, both as a player and manager.

I always found it strange how dutch players and managers usually learn spanish so quickly, while his spanish still sounded weird after living here for decades.

Most important player in the history of the game. Without him the game would still be slow and boring. No beautifull Tiki Taka.



Most languages we pick up rather fast, yet the accent from the town that we are born in is very recognizable in every other language we speak.

He had problems due to smoking a lot... he had health problems when we was coach 20 years ago too...
