Hard to form an opinion without having seen any test results.

It's about time technology was used. Goal line tech came into play again this weekend to show a spurs shot didn't cross the line by about half an inch. So that tech is priceless imo.

But video refs are a whole different level. What will they be reviewing? Will managers get a certain amount of reviews like in tennis? Or will it be like rugby where it's at the refs discretion?

The talks about scrapping the red card/penalty/match ban idea is great though.

in the bundesliga the video ref will be used experimentally from next season onward to review important scenes like goals, sendings offs, penalties

football should have started with that years ago, its way past time and it will take a lot of pressure from the refs
the problem with building aggression in games due to game changing (and bad) ref calls will also improve a lot imo

i do not like the concept of challenges though and obviously nobody wants every throw in or shitty free kick in the middle of nowhere to be reviewed

If they find a way to do this without disrupting play, great, otherwise...fuck it.
