What's becoming of this world ffs

It's probably a good deal for everyone. Atlético is getting a ton of money for a player that wasn't performing, he signs an awesome contract (salarywise) before his value drops too much, and the chinese club gets another flashy player to help their league develop.

Well China already had the highest earning player in the world around 5 years ago (Darío Conca). It definetely won't be long before they fill their league with randos earning over 20M€ per year.

seriously? the player i always though would be a perfect fit for dortmund leaves for china? that's ridiculous. someone (as in a real club) should have picked him up, he's quality. i'm sure he would have performed given a new chance...

I don't think we're close to that, yet. Give it another 10-15 years before China is big in football. And even then, I doubt all the stars would want to go there.

I never really liked him tbh, although I did expect Cholo to make him perform.

I still think they should have signed Bacca instead. Better, cheaper and already adapted to La Liga...
