so the 8 league champions are set as group heads, no real, atletico, arsenal etc.
which means there are groups with 3 top teams possible, as well as groups more similar to the el xD

imo the 8 most successful teams in the cl from the last seasons should be there and not this shit

It's negative for us (arsenal) but I think its fair that the champions should be the highgest ranked teams in each pot

thats bad for competition too in my opinion cause in knockout stages there will be a few weaker teams and many decent teams will stay on group stages..

I think it's silly that the 8th strongest league gets a spot just because the CL winner will also have won their domestic champion, instead of rolling the seed to the CL winner's leage runner up (RM/Roma/Lazio).

Not saying it because it's bad for RM (although they'll still be dodging clubs like City, Utd or Arsenal), but because having a team from the 8th strongest league in pot 1 is pushing it too much. I mean, when's the last time a dutch team even made it out of the group stage?

kinda sad that we will probably some big teams not making it out of the group stage to have a ridiculous last 16 round
