Most of that money didn't go to Porto but rather agents and third party owners though.

Numbers are still impressive regardless.

only hulk and mangala were owned by third parties according to the list ... dunno if true or not though

Well, we know for sure that Falcao was aswell since it's the reason he was sent to Monaco, so the list isn't accurate about that.

I don't know how many of those players were owned by third parties, but it is well known that most of the south american football players that transfer to the portuguese liga do so under third party ownership status.

And most of the transfers involving Jorge Mendes, the shady agent that controls most of the portuguese transfer businesses, include crazy bonuses for him, and so a big chunk of the transfer money goes to him and not the club that is selling the player.
