We’ve suspected it for ages, but ex-Arsenal ace Nicklas Bendtner is now officially a Lord – after someone bought him some land in Scotland.
Bendtner, who now plays for German club Wolfsburg, has often been affectionately branded as a Lord on Twitter by those who follow his antics.
The Dane has been gifted 1 sq.ft of land in Glencoe Wood – part of a nature reserve – by Danish magazine SE Og HOR.
Lord Bendtner is delighted with his title according to Elisa Lykke, his agent.
She said: ‘We have seen it, and Nicklas thinks it’s a fun gimmick.’

‘We have been asked to be sent a receipt and we are pleased that it supports a nature conservation area.’
Hopefully his performances on the pitch will start to reflect his title.
