He's doing ok, I guess. La Real should be fighting for a ticket to a european competition, but by the time Moyes took over their chances were already pretty much over.

The team and him seem to be adjusting to each other slowly but surely. Overall, I think this is a transition season for the club, and I think Moyes could do a good job there if he decides to stay after this season.

I was hoping you'd comment mate :P They've got some good players like Vela so 10th didn't look great, but yeah it was a tough job to come into.

Well, yeah, their team should always finish in the top 8 at least because teams like Celta, Málaga or Espanyol are decent but they shouldn't finish above la Real.

With the Copa del Rey EL spot going to the winner of the semfinal between Athletic and Espanyol, there won't be an EL spot for the 7th placed... this means Real Sociedad's season is pretty much over, they are 14 points behind the 6th and 8 above the 18th. So now all that's left for them is to focus on start building a competitive team for next season.

David Moyes sets up every team to be defensive. Which is why he excels at the lower clubs and failed miserably at a top 4 club. Every game he was putting out tactics focused on defending and what the other team can do to score, instead of actually going to score
