"I don't know why we haven't had more sales," said match organiser Leo Morales, noted in the aforementioned article.

Ticket prices are likely to play a major part. Adult singles are available for £40 each (less so if you're a United membership holder), but this is still expensive for a non-competitive match. In fact, tickets to see the Red Devils often cost less at the Theatre of Dreams.

Seriously, if you want a Messi vs Cristiano internationall match, host it in Asia or something, not in a country where people get to see top level football every weekend and won't give a fuck about a Portugal vs Argentina friendly.
