Ivanovic is no where near as good central as he is rightback
Vidic is on decline
Kolarov is hit and miss
Midfield has no real breaker
Jovetic is injuried 99%
Dzeko and Mandzukic wouldn't work in the same team

Just saying that the team could be alot better if the right players are used, Matic in the midfield for example.

Yeah, united they could build one of the best squads in Europe (although this team isn't the best example, like Mill said).

Yugoslavia produced some of my all time favourite players. I always felt sorry that they never managed to win a single title dispite being close to it... not talking about the country or politics here, but I do miss the team. Their league could potentially be quite decent aswell if it still existed today (I mean as in able of producing a team or two capable of achieving what some ukranian, russian or turk teams have achieved). Since the plavi is gone now, I'd at least like to see one of the former yugoslav nations win something someday...

Lot's of good quality players come from that region

the balkan countries have many quality players, a yugoslavia team would be kickass

croatia alone has a really good team and should do much better, but somehow these nations fail to make their individual players work in a team

i guess that would be even more difficult (or impossible) with a yugoslavia team
