Pretty much. They sold one of the best strikers in the world, and not a single world class player in return, just southamption players..

Not saying they'll get 6th place, but I wouldn't hope for winning the title if I were a Liverpool fan tbh.

I agree, getting 4th would be a very good season, players will start seeing Liverpool as a safe champions league team like Arsenal or Chelsea.

Let me ask you this, what did you guys except them to do with the money? Buy a superstar for around 70 million? never going to happen.

There wasn`t an alternative, really.
Lpool doesn`t have the pulling power any more. Cant compete with united, chelski, city or even arsenal.

#5 club in england atm.

They could have got young stars tho, not premier league mediocrities.

Belgium, france, brazil, germoney, they all have stars on the rise.

Risk 10-15 mil on 5 of them at least 1 should prove the next suarez.

You buy mid table players you want to battle at the top.
