I've decided to jump on das bandwagon for this one game only, afterall as an European and a football fan I guess I'd like to see a fellow European and a better footballing side to win.

Tell me, my German mates, how did you manage to get so relatively good so quickly after disastrous late 1990s and early 2000s?

Easy to see, the top German sides have mostly Germans.

after that every club had to invest in youth camps
the better they are (0-3stars) the more money they get from the dfb
2006 it began to pay out (podolski,schweinsteiger,lahm) and nowadays we have decent young players every new year

Because we can

obviously good youth camps, that we are building up since early 2000's

thats what englands lacking

because we learned from these dire times and did all we could to build a good youth system
that created plenty of young, great german players who are well trained in all aspects of the game, the training was improved significantly in terms of technical abilities (something we lacked for a long time)

now we combine high technical ability with tactics and our traditional german virtues, which makes an unbeatable combination

That's exactly what Belgium i doing right now.
