Before the WC started I had a feeling it would be a German midfielder, perhaps Özil or Reus (before I knew about his injury) but Özil hasn't played well, Reus not at all and none of the German midfielders have exceeded any expectations.


My vote goes to Arjen Robben whom to ZK9GT's grief made sure Netherlands progressed vs Mexico and has provided his team with 3 goals. Imo the best Dutch player vs Costa Rica too.
