The greatest player to ever wear the white shirt. An absolute legend that changed Real Madrid's destiny and the world of football, his unique approach to the game and to the centre forward position inspired many of the greatest players and managers that came after him.

He may be gone now but his legacy shall live forever.

this is why i just can't accept that players like dirk kuyt or gary medel are called "legends". yes, they are true fighters and loyal soldiers who give everything for their team and every manager needs players like them but the term "legend" should be reserved for the truly big ones - the ones that stood out and changed the game.
