I'm not sure to be honoust, back when Suarez was banned whole Liverpool was on form, when he came back players started to drop a bit form wise (like Mignolet) and Suarez was there to save them then.

well games such as the one saturday was testamate to what i say, yes he had an assist and a great match but liverpool can still score goals without him.. still top 3 worlds best player no doubt

It's against the little teams what i'm refering to mostly, I mean this is definatly not the case as it was with RvP at Arsenal last season, and his season at united, but Suarez can definatly carry Liverpool to victories, which is ofc great.

Robin had a good season, but he wasn't the key aspect, when he was on a barren spell of 10 matches without goal, we're still winning games.
The team was just ruthless, if United took the lead, they wouldn't give it up, if the opposition scored first, United would always respond - it's all down to proper team management and motivation.

Besides, the title favourite - Man City - are now only one point better off after 25 games than they were at this stage last season, United have 21 less points.

this
it was one of united's best performances in a league as far as i remember, they dominated, even 2008 and 1999 teams didn't win by such ease

It's City's to lose as they have the best squad.
I actually want Chelsea to win the title as I like Jose and the board will see what they missed out on.

David Moyes claimed that it requires 'football intelligence' to understand his tactics in a rather tense & brief press conference on Tuesday.

Moyes, who apparently responded to a greeting of "good afternoon" from one reporter by simply staring at him, spoke to the broadcast media for just over three minutes before leaving, ignoring a final question completely.

Ahead of United's big encounter with Arsenal on Wednesday night, Moyes was asked if he could explain why United were 21 points worse off than last season, with basically the same group of players.

He said: "Well, I was at Everton so I wasn't 21 points worse off. I was at Everton.

"The improvement in the teams in the Premier League has been big. There have been a lot of improvements from sides in the Premier League and obviously we've not done as well as we did last year.

"I think there are certain different reasons for it, I don't think there's any particular one. I think there's a combination of different things - the change of manager being one of them. But lots of other things as well.

"We're trying to see how our results have not been as good as they have been. They should be, and we will continue to look at that. There's no one person or one thing. There are several different things that we'll look to change or alter, but there's no one thing.

"I think the players are doing great. I think I've got a great group of players. I'm very fortunate I took over the champions and I think the players have been terrific."

Moyes was then asked about his tactics in the 2-2 draw with Fulham, that extended to crossing the ball from wide areas with little variation.

"You need to have a football intelligence, a football brain, to understand first of all," he replied.

"I thought only one team came to win. But you [media] watched it, so it was probably a game for you to write how badly Manchester United had done, rather than what the opposition played like."

The United manager was asked if a different club with different fans might have been put him under more pressure.

"I was given a six-year contract because it was a long-term deal," said Moyes. "It was always going to take time. There is rebuilding going on year after year here and we will continue to try to do that.

"The right clubs pick the right managers and the right managers pick the right clubs. You pick clubs where you know it's right for you."

Meanwhile, Roy Keane believes that United need to recruit 'five or six' players in the summer.

"They've kind of cut corners in terms of transfers in the last few years," said the former United skipper.

"They've not gone out and got the big players, and it's just caught up with them this year.

"Manchester United need five or six players.

"If it happens in the summer then instead of being fearful of it, embrace it - it's exciting.

"These can be exciting times for Man United. Get them back to the very top where they belong."
ffs, how long till he stops embarrassing himself in the press conferences.

Haha

The only correct thing there is in all those quotes is this : "They've not gone out and got the big players, and it's just caught up with them this year."

Everyone knows, SAF made medicore players play like top players (also have to remember the paying money to refs but well), but thats gone now.
