I always felt if you play CL on Tuesday, you play league on Saturday, and Wednesday/Sunday. It's stupid not to do it like this.

Honestly Chelsea vs City should be a super Sunday game anyways... especially with Chelsea playing on a Wednesday. It's honestly retarded. Giving players 2 days of rest for such a crucial match isn't fair at all.

I mean looking at city/Arsenal last year you can't even find where they play CL on Wednesday and play a good team on Saturday. TBH a lot of their matches were even on Sunday.

yep Mourinho's been addressing this for a while now. its no excuse for Chelski's effort at home, but the Prem is the only league that doesnt bother with rescheduling matches around European competitions properly
