All time record in La Liga: 22 (Zarra, Di Stefano and now CR7)

And as for Europe, do you mean in UEFA competitions or out of all the leagues in Europe? Messi is the only player to have scored 4 in CL... but I don't have the stats for EL or UCWC, so it could be someone else. As for out of all the leagues in Europe, it's probablly Dixie Dean, who scored 37 in England  iirc.

if i remember well Van nistelrooy also scored 4 goals in a CL game vs sparta prague i think.

I meant 4 hattricks, not 4 goals... several players have scored 4 goals in a same game, and one has scored 5 (Messi).

Wow any one read any articles lately about San Iker opening up to the media? About his situation in Madrid, his disputes with Mourinho and Arbeloa etc..

Read it from the norwegian Madrid site you can use translate or try to google English versions of said interview:

tl;dr version at one point he's felt like he was the plague, even some assistant coaches said he wasn't good enough for the team, still considering a change of clubs despite being first priority over Keylor Navas

I saw the interview on tv last nigth and it was confusing because he says that he can't imagine his life without RM and that he wants to finish his carreer here... but the he also said that he'd like to have an experience outside of Spain so he could see RM from a third person perspective. Although I guess he could mean after retirement. In any case he says he feels much stronger now and he's working hard to bet at his best level for the club and the national team.

he basicly said that:

-it all went downhill for him since that injury he had in 2012
-the dissapointing WC really hurt him
-he feels wrongfully accused about giving secret information to the press, just because his wife is a journalist
-he felt like everything and almost everyone was against him a few months ago, but now he feels much more confident and happy

shots fired:

-to Karanka (he said that he treated him unfairly, and said he wasn't fit to play and isolated him from the team)
-to Florentino Pérez (he said that he wouldn't let him travel with the club to theaway games)

He also says Mourinho was a great manager for the club, even though it all went badly at the end. He says their relationship went downhill after Iker had a phonecall with Xavi. Iker claims that he called him to complain that Barça players were always diving and complaining to the refs, but Mourinho always thought that Iker called him to say that he was sorry for Mourinho's attitude. Xavi said today that Iker's version is true, and that Puyol and Del Bosque stopped them from having a serious argument. He says that Mourinho stopped speaking to him and kept him isolated from the team, but he remained quiet about it because he didn't wan't to cause a stir and because he didn't want to give Mourinho thepleasure of watching him publicly complain about him.

About Arbeloa he says they aren't friends anymore, but they still have a correct relationship and work together like they always have.
