As much as i love Rooney when watching that game I knew that goal would forever give him leverage. I'd have loved to see what he could have commanded if United won the UCL that year too, he'd be on 500k a week by now.

Why ?

He has no business being a footballer with his stocky frame and penchant for pies and booze, so it makes it funny to watch him when he's at his game. Sadly it's been a while since then (like 2012 season)
e: i also was hoping he'd live up to his potential after Cristiano left. Never quite got there but meh

same with götze, since that wc winner he is living in a pink bubble ffs



as long as the performances are right i dont mind players partying etc
gotta say that some drunk pub brawls made rooney kinda likeable its good to have some guys will balls around
