Yeah, then again you also have to put yourself in his position, he is currently 32 Years old and since there is A REALLY good offer from Saudi Arabia, I assume the least he is asking is for his contract to be renewed with better terms. He has been consistent in the past for almost 5 years now since joining Liverpool and I feel like he deserves that, but then again, this is a business as well and perhaps the Management may feel like an adjustment to his salary is not in their best interest. When you look at it, even teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid had no issue letting go of Ronaldo or Messi when it came to budget adjustments.
