Wenger took a boring small Arsenal and created a big club with amazing football, winning the league unbeaten and upgrading from Highbury to the Emirates, and all that while following the FFP rules.

Wenger is one of the most succesful coaches in the world, there is no way around that

yes it's true and i would (and have) never take(n) that away from him.
he instilled a positive and offensive attitude and philosophy in the team and his focus on raising young talent and operating financially responsibly in terms of transfers and contracts is exemplary, especially in that league.

that being said, some of his personal, strategic and also tactical decisions (especially in the last couple of years) have been questionable and i feel like he isn't really hungry enough (or at least can't convey that to his team) to make the crucial last step to finally win a big title again.
i kinda have the feeling that he's too content with what he achieves regularly (cl participation, usually past group stage, top 5 in the league, deep cup runs...) - which, don't get me wrong, is already not a small feat but a club like arsenal should be striving for more generally speaking...

Im sorry MR mill but wenger has lost his spark, and technical genius, he doesnt see the obvious things anymore, as hes too warped in making the perfect footballing team, he had the success and tried to build numerous teams that dont work. i will be sad to see him go, but i will be glad for fresh blood man in charge. A win in the champions league wont change my mind, he has to go, hes too stuck in his ways.

Wenger would be managing for the next 50 years if he wins the UCL, even from the grave, tbh.

I don't know why he is getting flak again though, 3 trophies this year so far (FA Cup, 4th place, Shield) isn't that bad imo

Not champions league champions. Alot of arsenal fans seem happy if we beat the likes of anderlecht or dortmund.

Im quite used to arsenal having either a solid backline of the famous back four, or a brilliant flowing attack that scores the goals. Now we dont have any of that, we have regressed. And what makes it more annoying. Man united are shit, liverpool are shit, city are mediocre, Only chelsea and southampton are performing to a good standard.

I remember few years back when you would always expect a 3 pt win for: chelsea-united-city-arsenal-liverpool-spurs vs the bottom 14 teams
But now it seems like these teams not including chelsea can lose vs one of the lower team
Get what I'm saying?

Well kind of, but before those 6 teams were above everyone's level. They were 95% of the time supposed to win vs lower teams
