It may be just me, but I've literally never seen him have a good game.

you only watch uniteds highlights after a game.. nothing else.

this is also the reason why you still think that manu is a good team

Wayne Rooney ‘agrees new long-term Manchester United contract’

Wayne Rooney has agreed a new long-term contract with Manchester United, according to reports.

The United star has been linked with a move away in recent times, particularly to Chelsea last summer, but now he has committed to Old Trafford, claim talkSPORT.

Rooney has been with United for a decade, and helped the club to a succession of major triumphs, including five Premier League titles and the 2008 European Cup.

Speculation on Tuesday suggested the 28-year-old will now stay with the champions until 2019.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired last year, United have found life tough under new boss David Moyes

However, this Rooney news, along with the surprise signing of Juan Mata from Chelsea, will give the Reds an enormous boost ahead of the final few months of the season.

The relationship between Rooney and Ferguson was a fractious one indeed, and it has become apparent that the striker is a lot happier under the new manager.

Despite the problems at the club – the Reds are 14 points off the top of the Premier League and have been knocked out of both domestic cups this month – a team including Mata, Rooney and Robin van Persie could well still make a decent challenge for a place in the top four.

Doesn't say if it's £300k/w

it has to be that much imo. dont think he should be making that much, but whatevs.

Wayne is an important player, but United is bending over a table and letting Rooney have his way.

Cardiff team: Marshall, Caulker, Hudson, John, McNaughton, Medel, Whittingham, Noone, Mutch, Bellamy, Campbell. Subs: Lewis, Turner, Kim, Eikrem, Gunnarsson, Daehli, Berget.

Man Utd team: De Gea, Rafael, Smalling, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Jones, Giggs, Young, Mata, Van Persie. Subs: Lindegaard, Cleverley, Fletcher, Januzaj, Kagawa, Hernandez, Rooney.

4-4-1-1 formation, could of been better on the wings but Mata starts in his best role, lets do this!

/e obv RvP back B)

45min of Domination B) glad that players are playing on their level, Mata is awesome, could of been 2-0 and maybe 3-0 if Young and RvP haven't missed their chances.
