sickens me that leicester is even still in the race for inler. who in their right mind would chose them over schalke?

not that i don't like leicester and i outright hate schalke but they are playing europa league and usually at least fighting for a champions league spot while leicester... do they even dream of maybe qualifying for european competition some day? i mean is that even realistic?

Europa League is a long but achievable target imo. And i'm not just saying this as a fan. We have a pretty good base structure. Talks currently ongoing to expand the stadium from 32000 to 42000. Owners who actually want to see us succeed and are willing to put the money in to get there.

Players like Inler get us further down the road to Europa League.

No doubt he's coming for money but that's the only way we can get players right now. But if they come what's stopping us? Especially with some of the bigger teams like Everton spurs etc struggling with who their best 11 is.

well those are some good and interesting points you make there but let's not forget: even IF the development goes into the right direction there will still be clubs that are bigger, richer, more successful each season (chelsea, city, united, arsenal, liverpool, tottenham) and the best you can hope for is that you qualify for europa league some day - and inler is like 32 now? for schalke, on the other hand, it's a disappointing season if they "only" play europa league.

also, i'm not blaming leicester at all, ofc they try to sign the best players they can get, that's the only smart thing to do, i'm just questioning the player's motives and pointing out how ridiculous it is that they are able to offer him so much more than a club like schalke...

Premier league just gets more money lol.

Besides, I read he would have preferred to go there but it was issues over transfer fee not his wages or something.

That's why there are lots of complaints over this FFP bullocks. With that in place there's like... 3? Maybe? Other European teams who can financially match the lower tier prem teams.

It sucks and I really don't know what to tell you. I don't make the rules or the wages :D

You wouldnt need to pay astronomical sums of cash for meh players to join you if you were the best.

Richest ? Yea. Best ? Not by a longshot, Jack.
In revenues, top.
In entertainment, probably fifth. La Liga > Bundesliga > Serie A > France > English.

2 games in and we have seen Chelki play literally nothing, Utd parking the bus, Arsanal choking and playing 1900 football.

*yawn*

why didn't you just leave the forum when you realised literally not a single person here values your "opinions"?
even your little backup plan failed, your posts are not clever trolls, they are just one line proof of extreme mental ret... let's say of petty hate and a small mind...
