Just a shame he doesn't really have a chance at player of the season, they only seem to pick attackers. Has been easily best defensive mid in the league though.

He really is that good, unbelievable player, nothing gets past him and he pushes people off the ball for fun even though he's quite small

Well, I don't see anyone going past matuidi and pogba in the french team

kante deserves a callup and if i were in charge id put him in the first eleven too.
He bossed the lechester midfield throughout the season, id go as far as saying he is better than matuidi in the position (regardless of the fact i think matuidi is the main reason psg's midfield is a success story)

Great agressor for cheap. Wenger's french connections should have brought him at Arsanal.

I don't say he shouldn't be called up but matuidi is the same kind of player and has been playing for France for years now and he knows the team while it would be something completely new for Kante.
He would be an awesome sub for now, and he could get a sport in the starting eleven in the years to come imo
