Liverpool loan £20m Alberto Aquilani to Juventus

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/8931587.stm

Liverpool's Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani is to join Juventus on a one-year loan, pending a medical.

The two clubs have agreed a deal for the 26-year-old, who cost the Anfield outfit £20m from Roma last summer.
Aquilani has struggled for form and fitness since arriving as a replacement for Xabi Alonso and will undergo a medical in Italy on Monday.
He was left out of Thursday's win over Trabzonspor in the Europa League to remain eligible for other clubs.
"For Aquilani, this year it is very important that he plays regular football every week as the number one man on the team-sheet," Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson said after the match.

"I can't promise him that here so if a loan move to Italy could help him in that respect it might be good for all parties.
"It would certainly be what he needs, it would certainly protect the value of the player and when he does return to Liverpool no doubt we will see the Aquilani that we signed before he came here injured last year."
Aquilani, who has been capped 11 times by Italy, has made only 28 appearances for the Reds, scoring two goals in the process.
Juventus have further boosted their squad by signing Serbia international striker Milos Krasic from CSKA Moscow in a deal which could eventually be worth over £12m.
They turned their attention to 25-year-old Krasic, a member of Serbia's World Cup squad, after their interest in Bosnian forward Edin Dzeko was rebuffed by German club Wolfsburg.

Hopefully Aquilani rediscovers his form. Sad he never really got much opportunity at Anfield as I'm sure he'd have done well!

What do you Juve fans think of him?

He was great for Roma, hopefully he is the same for Juve. Could be his ticket into the Italy national squad as well. Happy with the signing :D

Wasn't so much that... they zoomed in on his face before a peno and he just looked completely lost. He had the face of not wanting to be there. Anyways Juve looked good. Should be a good season for Serie A

Word, can't wait for the season.
Juventus plays with more fight than last season, I am liking that.
Last season at a certain point players just looked like they quit, no good.
Still want to see a striker added, Pazzini looks like the best option if available, keeps the squad Italian as well.
