Also Chelsea established themselves as one of the teams to fear in UCL in the past decade, reaching numerous times 1/2 finals and 2 finals. And Chelsea achieved this while having spent a lot less than City for a lot bigger period of time. In the same time the noisy neighbours as some call them turned themselves into joke of a club by managing to reach just 1 semi-final since they became oil-rich club.

Yup from your point of view you can mention the flops we bought, but you won't mention the likes of Petr Cech, Arjen Robben, Didier Drogba and more and more that came not that expensive and became one of the top players in Europe with us.
