Yes... Chelsea struggling until their last match in one of the weakest groups possible and then miserably failing to play anything even remotely close to football in two legs agains Paris has for sure done more good for English football than City winning the single strongest group in the entire competition and securing their spot in QFs in the first leg....

While I think he has some negative stereotypes of English people and our clubs, I agree. Chelsea have been poor in the champions league for years, even when they won it they got absolutely destroyed by Bayern, I was embarrassed watching it. Still, Utd and City have been way worse. Out of all the English teams, Chelsea have performed the best, albeit below their potential.

1. I don't have any reservations against English people whatosever. I actually like most of the English people I know.
2. You're probably right with Chelsea having performed the best over the last years... but speaking of the current season, that is simply not the case.

actually performed better than expected after that miserable start in the league..

psg wouldve kicked out City aswell. and if you didnt realise, Kiew had their last real game in december, and going into a cl game after more than 2 months break is a big disadvantage.

I can't wait till Chelsea are back to being the best. This Aneas mofo will finally stfu.

Leicester could easily beat the likes of Malmö, Sparta Prague, olympiakos, molde etc etc

Especially at home. The question whether Leicester can travel and succeed.

Leicester won't lose there group unless they are drawn with 4 of the worst possible seeds.

To be back to being the best, they would have had to be the best at any given time before, which they weren't. Never. Ever.



Arsenal still has one game left to go vs. Barcelona. Also, Barcelona plays on a higher level than Paris.
And despite Barcelona winning the first leg and even having some decent scoring opportunities to make it more than 2:0, Arsenal at least showed some class and some decent defending ablitites.

Chelsea was fooled around with for like 70 of 90 minutes in both games by a team still weaker than Barcelona, with PSG players being so sloppy/nonchalant at times it probably made TV viewers wonder whether they were actually watching top-level competitive football or a training match. Still Chelsea was never really close to accomplishing anything.

But okay, I'kll give you one thing: They were better than Manchester United.
