Sadly I'm not even surrpised Joe Gomez has been booed by his own fans simply for being assaulted. It's time for the FA and Southgate to address the away day contingent of England thugs ('fans') that go to all our games, hate scousers and get on the backs of Liverpool players and Black players. Let's not forget England fans were booing Sterling in the world cup last year despite being one of our best players just because he didn't end up scoring a goal. They were also targeting Sterling back in Euro 2016 when he was a very young player that played for Liverpool.

In theory perhaps yes. That being said it's just not nice to see this happen.
