Mallorca will be playing away against Tenerife tomorrow. Tenerife has spent most of its history in Segunda, although they spent 13 years in Primera (including a 10 year run during the whole 90s decade, during which they even qualified for the EL twice). After a disastrous season 2 years ago they were relegated to the 3rd level, but last year they promoted back to their natural division. This season they are one of the weakest teams in Segunda and they are among the top candidates to be relegated again... right now they are second to last. However playing in the Canary Islands is somewhat tricky, so I don't think it will be an easy game for Mallorca, especially if we keep crumbling as soon as something goes wrong.

Tenerife 0 - 1 Mallorca

Well, like I predicted, it wasn't an easy game for my boys; we were lucky. Tenerife had a lot of chances in the first half, our keeper Miño did a great job. Mallorca improved a lot in the second half, but only from a defensive point of view (Tenerife barely had any chances, while our attack was still nonexistant... however we managed to have one lucky chance and we scored). Happy with the result but it was a poor performance over all against one of the weakest sides in Segunda.

We're in the top half of the league again and one point away from the playoff spots; next game is home against the last placed team so ifa few other results favour us we might make it to those positions next weekend.

Yep, for now all I want is to see Mallorca winning; once we are higher in the table we can focus on playig better.

Home game vs Waasland Beveren tomorrow, some of you might remember beveren from the days it had the Ivorian players (such as Yaya touré, gervinho, eboué etc) luckely they aren't at beveren anymore

We need to get these 3 points in order to prevent us dropping in the relegation table. confident we will get them points!
