Took a few minutes out of my busy day to share a few of my thoughts regarding the new Ultimate Team updates...

Justification of price ranges on EA Sport's website:

1.) Help FUT gamers understand the value of the players in their Club.

So the value of players is to be decided by some guy wearing a suit at EA headquarters and not the free market of supply and demand? No De Bruyne's or other players on the market that have been undervalued in their price ranges. If EA don't want players to reflect the value of their demand, then aren't players supposed to be valued on their rating (with maybe informs an exception to this)? So why is 88 rated Falcao's price range 5000-15000 when 84 rated Pogba is 37000-55000, or even some silvers like Muriel whose price range is a (whopping!) 60000-90000.

2.) Make high-rated players more attainable for all FUT gamers and ensure a level playing field.

So completely eliminating the chance to buy coins online which is comparatively 3x cheaper than buying fifa points is making highly rated players more attainable? In addition, the coins you buy can be used to buy specific players on the market so you can build the team that you want. Isn't that what ultimate team is all about? Now you pay 3x more to buy fifa points and it is a complete lottery as to who you will pack, with very low chances of packing highly rated players (a lot of which are criminally undervalued in their price ranges still). This is just an attempt at extracting even more money from paying customers, not ensuring a level playing field.

3.) Further restrict illegitimate coin transfers on the Transfer Market.

This ties in with 2). Illegitimate coin transfers actually benefit FUT users as they can buy players more cheaply, and the players that they want (not the players that EA will decide to put in your packs). The only party that doesn't benefit is EA, with their extortionate fifa points being bought less frequently. I mean, it's not like they don't rip off FUT users in the first place, or that they aren't making enough of a fortune already.

Pretty much agree with all you said.

They needed to do this at the start of a season. Keep players in reasonable brackets. 15mill Messi will take you thousands of games to afford which is crazy.

Either increase coins from games and/or lower the cost of fifa points and/or make higher level players drop more frequently.

Complete joke at the minute which really isn't helping EA's public image.

What ea could do is do the 400-600 coins per game AND an untradable pack.

i think they should give atleast 800-1000 coins per game... 300-500 is nothing when a contract cost 250+ or a fitness cost 300+...

and i just got rekt by the most pacewhore team ever

Sturridge Remy Sterling.
