FC Barcelona’s website obtained the highest mark in a study carried out amongst the webs of clubs taking part in this season’s Champions League.
The Club’s website obtained 93 points -one more than second place
Manchester City’s - and is the only semi-finalist from last year’s Champions League in the Top Ten, well ahead of Chelsea (12th), Bayern Munich (13th) and Real Madrid (23rd)
The study looked at ten different aspects of each web, such as identity, language, writing, accessibility and multimedia content
FC Barcelona has the best website of all the clubs involved in this season’s Champions League according to a new study, with
http://www.fcbarcelona.com/ leading the ranking with 93 points out of a possible 100, one ahead of last year’s winner Manchester City.
The results of the study, carried out by the communication agency Departamento de Internet, were obtained via the Heuristic Evolution Guide of the clubs’ webs, which establishes a number of possible variables – objectives, URL friendly, user orientation, look and feel, logo and slogan, language and writing, structure and navigation, memory overload, layout and multimedia. FC Barcelona obtained the highest mark of all the webs in nine of these ten categories.
Only semi-finalist in the Top-10
Of the four semi-finalists in last year’s Champions League, FC Barcelona have the only website in the top ten positions, with finalists Chelsea and Bayern Munich in 12th and 13th places and Real Madrid down in 23rd spot. Curiously enough, the only other team from La Liga in the top ten is Malaga – making their Champions League debut this season, with Valencia in 11th place.
