So far I'm really happy by how the transfer window went, only sold Fabianski, sadly Vermaelen will most likely leave us tho

But the buys have been excellent, 3 proven players and 1 young talent, can't complain at all

i'm not sure if ospina was a necessary signing and if chambers isn't a little too expensive just because he's english...

A good second keeper is very usseful for us, as shown with Fabi last season.
Woj doesn't shine when he's not under pressure. When Almunia was the second keeper he made stupid errors he shouldn't have, with some serious competition he gets up to his best.


As for Chambers, 16m is alot yes, but Wenger won't spend such an amount on a youngster if he doesn't think he's special. He's exactly what we need ( a player that can play 3 or more positions)

Imho khedira would have proven to be much more useful than an unproven 20 mio euros youngster that plays in a position already covered.

Even song could have been a cheaper than 16mio pounds solution.

Hopefully wenger gets at least one more name, may it be song, khedira or balo.

Plays RB CB DM and CDM, Vermaelen is leaving so thats a CB gone, we were missing a DM so thats one sorted (in theory), Jenkinson is going out on loan to West ham so we only have 1 right back.

From what i`ve been reading, the verminator leaving gets you nastasic, i know he`s been injury prone the last season, but prior to that he looked like a very solid cb. I think he would be better for arsenal than vermaelen ever was.

Still needing a holding midfielder by proffesion imo. Putting a right back in that position could cost points. But lets give wenger some credit. He did good so far.

What happened to the Javi Martinez link with Arsenal? He is way better than Khedira, although it would probably take £40m or so to take him from Bayern. Did he sign a new contract or something?
