deserved win obviously but after their goal united looked a bit better, before that it was men vs. boys really...

i still don't understand why real aren't replacing navas though, he's clearly too error prone, you'd think one of the best teams in the world could do better than that...

you'd have to be dense to deny it.

being disappointed in a loss =/= being embarrassed or having no good chances

any close loss to the world champs shouldn't be shocking and isnt embarrassing.

Madrid to walk this easily.

The United #2 should quit proffesional football in a heartbeat.

Lakuku, 80 mios punds for a tap-in merchant that nets 1/15 chances.

Not rooting for Madrid at all.

Actually hoped Utd can mount a challenge. Im ambivalent when it comes to united, had some warm feelings back in the giggs/becks/ Ferguson days which turned dreadfully cold the moment Mourinho stepped in.

Imagined Madrid to win it 3-1. Premier League is embarassingly bad. Even sevilla could give United a good beating. Your level, jokes aside is far, far beyond Atletico, Barca and real and perhaps even sevilla.

Valencia/Villareal level. Though both show every once in a while some good footbal, chapter in which United owe the fans a great lot.

Good luck challenging for the 4 champions league spots.

Madrid won 2-1 not 10-0. Coulda been 4-0 to Madrid if players dont hit 2x crossbars or 3-2 to United if Lukaku and Rashford bury good chances.

in any event its a good game for analysis of both teams: Madrid a well tuned machine and United hopefully settling into winning fashion after a long period of transition post-SAF, which despite the horrid past 4 years still has a handful of trophies (including a European one).

Both should do well this year with the squads they have.
