perhaps somethings wrong with your heading technique then :p

not perhaps, most definitely! it hurts like a motherfucker when i hit two or three of these longballs with the head. don't know what though, i have the hops and the timing (play volleyball a lot) - so it must be technique...

aside from shitty linesmen...from my experience the offside trap is kinda overrated, i only use it when i am the last man and have a clear shot

so many goals could be prevented if players were less rigid with the defensive line and try to match an opponents run for a change
perfect example is that atletico goal in munich, some halfass offside trap attempt from a player like alaba who is easily fast enough to go 1 on 1......fucking horrible

seriously, we tried for years (not an exaggeration) to make it work in training to implement in our game and it was just extremely frustrating to see the guys struggle with the timing and communication and our strikers just running through the backline and having all the time in the world trying to beat the goalie 1 on 1 while the defenders were scrambling back from the middle of our half or something...

i mean i'm sure you loved it too when you came to training and after running laps like a mad man the coach smiled and said "defensive tactics session" with all of its silly mini games - i mean, zonal marking and back four coordination... that makes sense and i do see how it is helpful, even for amateurs. but offside trap? seriously? that's just punishment and frustrating as fuck...

really? well it's pretty clear that football needs more people like you then - i hate headers, especially long balls like goal kicks and free kicks - imo they are worse than really fast crosses... and i hate strikers, they are all assholes...
also, playing offside is not only terribly complicated and error prone by itself, it's also insanely risky because linesmen are fucking incompetent - all of them...

i agree, thank god nobody made me play like that ^^
for back 4 training my coach had us playing 4 defenders vs 9 attackers
sounds like madness and you are working harder than the worst running training you can imagine
but once it works its pretty satisfying to see that you can deny twice as many guys from scoring ^_^

don't think I've ever hurt my head in the 25+ years of competitive playing from a ball.

Fender confirmed a scrawn. Explains the constant rage.

So you do admit you are a scrawn. Can't say i'm surprised.

You proclaiming that there is nothing to get hurt makes less sense if we go by your logic, so you just trumped yourself.
