My strategy is usually pretty simple
Defenders likely from different teams same with keepers to maximize your chances at clean sheets. Go with a defender who scores the odd goal too- thanks Pique and try to minimize ones likely to get yellows- no Pepes.

Stack your forward line as much as you can
Go for one more attack minded midfielder and others likely to play a lot and kind of do all around work

I usually pick defenders and keepers from weak but tactically organized teams, as the players are cheap while having a good chance of keeping a clean sheet.

Midfielders I go for attacking ones (normally 1-2 from a good team, the other ones from cheaper ones), and I spent most of my budget on strikers.

Andrea and notorious?

I combine, strikers from teams who are likely to score for instance I have Milik. I think my midfielders are where my money is going.

i wonder how many ppl were stupid enough to pick german / spanish attacking players, not expecting every team they play against to defend with at least 9 men...

Well I picked Müller because he usually delivers in these tournaments

but this is why I pick proper substitutes, so I can bench him now
