well for me he did. i didn't know that rooney was slow in the head and that he had such anger issues even when it's just training. i mean... i can't say i'm shocked or too surprised but i never expected ferguson to mention it so publicly. i think this should have been my question - how do you feel about fergie exposing such things to the public, to people who aren't insiders like you...
do you think there will be a new autobiography once he retires from football altogether? that would be very interesting imo...
Everyone can see Wayne isn't a perfect professional, his temper was always an issue.
He's not exactly saying Wayne is dumb, his problem is he's playing first team football since he's 15, so while everyone his age was at school, he's training with the Everton's first team.

well many football players aren't exactly most educated guys for that very reason (abandoning school early to focus on their carreer). but there is still the difference between a lack of intelligence and just a lack of education...
and regarding his temper - obviously he had some issues with it on the pitch but being mad like that about criticism in training is a whole different story imo...

anyway, i'm not hating on rooney here, actually i really like him as a football player and there are german players who are just as dumb if not dumber than him, so don't misunderstand this.
i'm just surprised that ferguson puts this out in the open like that - it almost sounds a little bitter to me...

Apparently Sir Alex has never forgiven Wayne for putting in transfer request in 2010 and questioning club's ambition, Sir Alex also hates Rooney's agent whom he blames for what happened.

he should do it rather quickly, look at sahin. he was never the same again, playing probably at 70 % of the old sahin right now. doubt he could completely get back to that level.
